The Art of the Fire Pits
If you desire something unique and want to own a stunning piece of bespoke art, why not opt for a fire pit sculpture? Garden fires are becoming a must have accessory for those of us who regularly enjoy spending time in their outdoor space. Made from steel, these beautiful sculptures are designed to fit over your existing fire place, fire pit or concealed burner. Not only functioning as artwork they will also will generate additional radiant heat.
Mesmerised by the endless dance of flames in the fireplace, Cathy has created various sculpture designs that form a playful stage for the flames. Built to special commission, she has re-invented the fire pit for the garden. In conjunction with the artist, you can agree the final size, positioning and shape according to your individual needs.
The steel elements are untreated and left to develop a beautiful fire-tempered rusty patina. As flames lick through them, they glow red radiating heat, highlighting the beautiful sculptural form creating a dramatic centre piece.

Artist Biography
Artist / designer Cathy was born in Tunisia and lived in France until she came to London in 1980 to study sculpture. Living in London ever since and working for private clients, architects and designers, she designs sculptural installations for interiors and exteriors. She draws her inspiration from natural materials, organic forms, the interplay of light and a conviction that what is functional in the home can also be beautiful. Fire is the area interesting her most. As a result, she began to design fire installations when her search for a contemporary fireplace for her own home proved fruitless. Hence, she has been exploring the whole concept of fire and light. Using metal for both its sculptural potential and the way the colour transforms when heated.
Cathy never has and will never, mass-produce. She works by establishing a train of thought, then developing and refining it in response to each client’s requirements. Every piece is therefore unique, signed and numbered by its creator.
Beautifully designed and handmade by the artist herself. Cathy’s outdoor fireplaces subtly adds a texture of ambiance and design to the natural environment transforming the outdoors into a warm, inviting and hospitable space for family and friends.
